“I don’t have time!” You remember that excuse? It ranks among the top five language learning excuses. Well, all of a sudden, we are receiving dozens of requests from people asking about tips to improve their second language as they have plenty of time on their hands. To help you keep your sanity during this time of self-isolation imposed by the COVID-9 (Coronavirus), our language coaches came up with a 30-day challenge that will help you polish your target language and bring you one step closer to fluency. So here it is!

Make sure you prepare mentally the day before starting the challenge by setting up a schedule and preparing your workspace and tools. If you have children make sure you tape their mouth and hands so they don’t disturb you….That’s a joke! Make sure they are also busy playing some educational games or, if they are little, you can do this during their nap. Even though the challenge looks easy for advanced learners, you can adapt it to your needs (i.e. if the challenge asks to name 10 colours, find 10 colours you don’t know or if the challenge asks to describe your day, describe a day in the past to make it more challenging). We will be posting more instructions each day about the challenge on our Facebook page so make sure you are a member of our group by clicking here.

Let’s make the best out of self-isolation and kick the coronavirus in the behind!

Stay safe and keep learning.
