1. A laptop or computer
You don’t need to have the most expensive laptop or desktop to learn but, using one will make your language learning experience much more efficient. Please don’t use your phone as the main language learning device, instead, keep it on the side and use it to search for vocabulary on online dictionaries.
My laptop: I love my HP Pavillon 15-CS Intel i5 touch screen laptop that can be both a laptop and a tablet.
2. A webcam
Most laptops come with a good quality camera but if you are using a desktop, a webcam is something you might need.
My Webcam: When shopping for a webcam, look for a video capture resolution of at least 720p or higher. I am happy with my Aigital 1080P Webcam.
3. Headphones
Being able to listen to your teacher and other students is very important. I personally prefer a headset instead of earphones because they suppress background noise and help you stay focused during class. Make sure your headset has a good quality microphone with noise-cancelling capabilities.
My headphones: I prefer using wired headphones because I tend to forget to charge my devices and I hate having Bluetooth connectivity issues.
I am using the Logitech H111 Wired Headset because it makes me look more professional, but I have a thing for my daughter’s JBL Tune 500 Wired On-Ear Headphones.
4. A Reusable notebook
This notebook is environment-friendly and allows you to keep all your notes in your phone! Write, scan, erase, and restart!
My reusable notebook: Rocketbook notebook&planner
5. Streaming lights
Add a little bit of glamour to your class! It is important to make an effort on our online image. Having the right light can make a difference.
My light choice: Cyezcor video conference lighting kit
While placing a lamp behind your laptop can do the job, here are some other lights that will always make you look fabulous.
